Reviews of woodlands hotel
The is the place to stay in Sidmouth. My son and daughter-in-law took me. We had a lovely time, the owners and staff are brilliant – so friendly, always got time to speak to us, not forgetting CoCo the Labrador. She greets all the guests and knows exactly where she can go. Breakfast is excellent and if you book an evening meal you will not be disappointed. Hotel is situated in a very convenient area for everything with parking. The interior is beautifully decorated, everywhere is spotless and the garden is a lovely place to sit out.

What an absolute delight to stay here. Very friendly attentive staff and owners, nothing is too much trouble. Coped admirably with my gluten and dairy free diet, not one eye roll and even suggested food I could eat! Beautifully clean, very tasty food, great power shower, I could go on. Highly recommend.

We had two nights at the The Woodlands with our dogs. Very welcoming, gorgeous spacious room which was very clean indeed. Dan & Megan were fantastic hosts, wonderful breakfast, very friendly & nothing too much trouble, beach was 10 minutes walk down the road. Turning left from the hotel is a small park area great for walking the dogs, it’s in an excellent location. We will definitely visit again.
